Brickcom MD-100Ae (1M) Economy

The MD-100A is a fixed dome megapixel network camera in a very low profile case, making it ideal for doorway/approach environments or ceiling mounting where there is limited headroom. It is vandal resistant and weatherproof so the MD-100A is particularly suitable for transit or other municipal infrastructure applications (including trains, planes and busses). A very wide angle lens insures a large field of vision, even at close range. A built-in SD memory card slot allows local (self-contained) recording so that video can be captured even when the network is interrupted or recorded viewed after an 'event' even without any networking provision.

The MD-100A is fitted as standard with a very wide angle 2.86mm lens so that the camera has visibility of a large area, even at close range, for example if someone is standing right by the camera.. The unit can be powered from it's supplied PSU (or any other 12VDC feed) or by PoE if you have a PoE Ethernet switch or injector.

Full 1280 x 800 Widescreen megapixel resolution is backed up by triple-codec support to make most efficient use of bandwidth and storage. The MD-100A allows simultaneous viewing in two different resolutions, for example full resolution for local viewers/storage and a lower resolution for remote users or 3G access where bandwidth it lower.

Image motion detection lets you define up to three watch areas in the image and if movement is detected in any of those areas (perhaps a probited zone on your site) the camera can alert you by email or FTP with a snapshot of video clip.
