VIVOTEK has released a new Application note recently which helps you choose a computer system with the right processor to work wih the company's enterprise surveillance software VAST/ST7501! VIVOTEK's team have composed some charts that organize the processors according to the different compressions and the image quality (frames per second)!

Disclaimer: The testing data is just for reference. If the project environment is complex, please request VIVOTEK FAE to provide the appropriate CPU suggestion. The reference data are all for live viewing; if the VAST/ST7501 server is only recording, then the CPU Intel Core2 Quad Q9550 is enough.

 

The world-class Taiwanese IP products manufacturer VIVOTEK has recently released an Application Note on its site about how we can enhance the detail of the video stream through Wide Dynamic Range that is present with a certain number of IP cameras! WDR brightens dark areas but also keeps the image clear in bright regions. It is implemented by the software that is bundled with these cameras!
