Axis strengthens the patent portfolio

Axis announced that the company is further strengthening its patent portfolio through acquisition of “Internet Camera Portfolio” from Hoya Corporation and its affiliate. The acquisition consists of about twenty patents. The purchase price of the patents will not be disclosed.

The acquired patent portfolio includes patents regarding network communication and cameras which deliver images over networks using e.g. different network protocols.
